Men's Soccer Falls to No. 5 Calvin

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team dropped a hard fought match against No. 5 Calvin on Wednesday evening by a score of 2-0. 

After a scoreless first half, Calvin's Jacob Witte scored the first goal of the match in the 63rd minute. Mason Smith added a second goal for the Knights 20 minutes later. 

The Hornets had a number of chances with seven shots and three of those being on goal, but were unable to convert. 

Goalie Luke Kastran made six saves for Kalamazoo. 

Kalamazoo returns to MacKenzie Field on Wednesday, Oct. 3 for a conference match with Adrian. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
