Dustin Snyder enters his sixth season as an assistant coach at Kalamazoo College in 2012.
Snyder has been involved in the youth soccer scene in Kalamazoo for many years, including coaching positions with TKO Premier Soccer Club and the Kalamazoo Soccer Club. He is currently entering his seventh season as an assistant coach at Plainwell High School where he has helped the Trojans to two conference championships, four district championships, two regional championships and one trip to the state semi-finals in 2009.
Snyder was a three-year letter winner on the Western Michigan University Bronco’s soccer team from 2004-2007 and served as the team's captain his senior season. Snyder was an All Mid-American Conference selection and in 2004 earned a place on the All-Great-Lakes Regional Team. Snyder spent his freshman year at Bowling Green State University where led the team in scoring and was an All-Mid-American Conference selection.
Snyder has also competed in the Premier Development League (PDL) for more than seven seasons, including stints with the Bradenton Academics, Indiana Invaders, Kalamazoo Kingdom, West Michigan Edge and with the Kalamazoo Outrage as a player-coach. Snyder also spent two years training at the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Michigan University (2007).
