GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team kicked off the first of three days of competition Thursday evening at the Calvin Invitational.
In the first event for the men, Keyan Boniadi placed 11th in the 1650 freestyle. Boniadi recorded a time of 17:04.65.
In the final event of the evening two Kalamazoo relay teams competed in the 800 freestyle relay. The Hornets' 'A' group placed 9th with a time of 7:03.85. The 'B' relay came in 15th with a time of 7:17.28.
Multiple Division I and Division II programs competed in both events.
Competition resumes Friday.
