Men's Swimming & Diving Loses Opening Dual Meet

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team lost its season opener 127.5-68.5 to Saginaw Valley State University of NCAA Division II.

Sharif Shaker won the 100 backstroke (:54.41) and the 200 backstroke (1:59.63) while Tejas Vettukattil won the 3-meter diving event (153.68).

Kalamazoo returns to action next Friday, Oct. 26 at the MIAA Relays hosted by Hope before hosting Albion on Saturday, Oct. 27.
