CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 9-0 at No. 35 Coe College on Saturday. Coe is also ranked No. 8 in the Central Region while Kalamazoo is ranked No. 11.
Branden Metzler lost 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for Kalamazoo. Elan Dantus played the closest singles match for the Hornets at No. 6, falling 6-3, 2-6, 10-7.
Spencer Navarre and Eric De Witt played the closest doubles match, falling 9-8 at No. 3.
Coe improved to 7-1 on the season while Kalamazoo fell to 3-2. The Hornets return to action on Sunday against Luther College.
