Men's Tennis improves to 4-0 with win over Wabash

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team improved to 4-0 with a 7-2 win over Wabash College in the Markin Center Saturday. 

Kalamazoo is currently ranked No. 10 in the region and No. 36 in the nation while the Little Giants entered at No. 15 in the region.

Kalamazoo led 2-1 after wins at one and three doubles. Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won 8-1 at one while Allen Vinson and Daniel Henry won 8-2 at three.

The Hornets proceeded to win five of the six singles matches to clinch the match.

Metzler (No. 15) won 6-2, 6-0 at one singles while Henry won 6-3, 6-3 at two. 

Noah Karoub won 7-5, 6-2 at four while Vinson won 6-1, 6-0 at five. Zack Ray finished things off with a 6-2, 6-3 win at six.

Kalamazoo returns to action against Gustavus Adolphus next Saturday, Feb. 25 in West Bend, Wis.
