Men's Tennis wins 8-1 at Haverford

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team improved to 6-1 with an 8-1 win at Haverford College on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo led 2-1 after doubles before winning all six singles matches.

Daniel Henry clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win at two singles.

Eric De Witt and Zack Ray won 8-6 at two doubles while Allen Vinson and Daniel Henry won 8-7(2) at three doubles. 

Branden Metzler won 6-2, 6-1 at one singles. Elan Dantus also won in straight sets at three singles 6-1, 7-6(2).

De Witt won 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 at four. Spencer Navarre won 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(6) at five while Ray won 3-6, 6-2, 1-0(7) at six.

Kalamazoo wraps up its spring trip at New York University Thursday at 7 p.m.
