HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team won 9-0 at Hope on Thursday. The win lifts the Hornets to 5-0 in the MIAA and 12-1 overall.
Kalamazoo swept the three doubles points before winning five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won 8-4 at one doubles. Eric De Witt and Zack Ray wn 8-3 at two while Daniel Henry and Allen Vinson won 8-5 at three.
Winning for Kalamazoo in singles were:
1 - Branden Metzler 6-1, 6-2
2 - Daniel Henry 6-0, 6-1
3 - Elan Dantus 4-6, 6-2, 10-7
4 - Eric De Witt 6-0, 6-3
5 - Allen Vinson 6-3, 6-2
6 - Noah Karoub 6-3, 6-4
Kalamazoo returns home to face Calvin on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m.
