Men's Tennis defeats Calvin 9-0

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Calvin 9-0 at Stowe Stadium on Saturday.

The win lifts the No. 24 Hornets to 13-1 overall and 5-0 in the MIAA.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won 8-3 at one doubles. Eric De Witt/Zack Ray (2 doubles) and Daniel Henry/Allen Vinson (3 doubles) each won by a score of 8-4.

Earning straight set wins in singles for Kalamazoo were: Daniel Henry (1), Elan Dantus (2), Eric De Witt (3), Allen Vinson (4), Noah Karoub (5) and Spencer Navarre (6).

Adrian comes to town for Kalamazoo's next match on Wednesday, April 19 at 4 p.m.
