Men's Tennis to face Kenyon in NCAA III Championships

The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team will travel to St. Louis for an NCAA III Regional this week.

Kalamazoo received a first round bye and will face Kenyon College in a second round match at Washington University in St. Louis on Friday, May 12 at 2 p.m. (3 p.m. ET). The winner will play a third round match on Saturday at noon with that winner advancing to the May 22-24 quarterfinals in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Kalamazoo (18-1) advanced to the NCAA III Championships for a record 42nd time by winning the MIAA Tournament last week. Kenyon (13-10) qualified by winning the NCAC Tournament two weeks ago.

The Hornets are currently ranked No. 26 in the nation and fourth in the region. Kenyon's Lords are ranked No. 28 nationally and sixth in the region. Kalamazoo defeated Kenyon 6-3 in Kalamazoo back in February.

Thursday, May 11
11 a.m. CT - Wheaton (17-7) vs. Rose-Hulman (19-8)

Friday, May 12
11 a.m. CT - Washington-St. Louis (16-4) vs. Wheaton/Rose-Hulman winner
2 p.m. CT - Kalamazoo (18-1) vs. Kenyon (13-10)

Saturday, May 13
Noon CT - Regional Championship
