Men's Tennis defeats Adrian; claims share of MIAA title

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team clinched at least a share of the 2018 MIAA championship with a 9-0 win at Adrian College on Thursday.

Kalamazoo won all three doubles points before winning all six singles flights in straight sets. Tytus Metzler clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win at one singles.

Daniel Henry/Tytus Metzler (1), Allen Vinson/Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado (2) and Elan Dantus/Alex Cadigan (3) each won in doubles.

Metzler (1), Henry (2), Dantus (3), Vinson (4), DelOlmo-Parrado (5) and Cadigan (6) each won in singles.

This is Kalamazoo's 84th regular season MIAA championship. The Hornets look to win the title outright at Albion on Saturday, April 21.
