TEMPE, Ariz. – The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team and eight individuals earned academic honors through the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week.
The Hornets earned ITA All-Academic Team honors by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
Eight individuals earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors by meeting the criteria of being a varsity letter winner, having a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and having been enrolled at their current institution for at least two semesters. The Hornets earning this distinction were: Alex Cadigan, Elan Dantus, Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado, Guillermo Dominguez, Tytus Metzler, Skyler Norgaard, Zack Ray and Allen Vinson.
The Hornets finished the season 13-6 overall and ranked 25th in the nation. The Hornets won the MIAA with a 7-0 league record.
