Men's Tennis Falls in Second Round of NCAA III Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team's season came to an end Saturday afternoon in a 5-1 loss to No. 39 Wisconsin-Whitewater in the second round of the NCAA III Championships.

The Warhawks led 2-1 after doubles, with 8-4 wins at one and three. Adnan Alousi and Casey Johnson won 8-5 at two doubles.

Singles play eventually moved indoors due to inclement weather. Whitewater proceeded to win at six, four and one to clinch the match.

Gabe Vidinas was up 7-5, 0-5 at two singles when the match was decided. Alousi had split sets and trailed 1-0 in the third.

Kalamazoo finished the season 14-8 overall after winning the MIAA regular season and tournament championships.
