CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team won 6-3 at Covenant College Wednesday night. The match was delayed several hours and moved indoors due to weather.
The Hornets trailed 2-1 after doubles, and 3-1 after the first singles match was complete. Kalamazoo rallied to win the final five matches in straight sets to win the match 6-3.
Casey Johnson/Adnan Alousi won 8-2 at two doubles.
Gabe Vidinas won 6-4, 6-2 at one singles. Peter Fitzgerald won 6-4, 6-3 at two. Adnan Alousi won 6-0, 6-1 at three. Casey Johnson won 6-1, 7-6(3) at four. Louis Landreau won 6-3, 6-4 at five.
Johnson's win at four singles clinched the match for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo is back in action Thursday afternoon with a 3 p.m. match at Sewanee.
