Men's Tennis Defeated at #22 Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 9-0 at No. 22 Sewanee (The University of the South) on Thursday.

The host Tigers won all three doubles matches before winning the six singles matches in straight sets.

Casey Johnson/Adnan Alousi had the closest match in doubles, falling 8-6 at number two. Gabe Vidinas/Peter Fitzgerald lost 8-3 at one. Louis Landreau/Parker Foster fell 8-1 at three.

Gabe Vidinas fell 6-1, 7-6(7) at one singles. Peter Fitzgerald lost 6-3, 6-3 at two. Adnan Alousi fell 6-4, 6-3 at three. Louis Landreau was defeated 6-4, 6-1 at five.

Casey Johnson retired with an injury down 4-1 in the first. Parker Foster fell 6-1, 6-1 at six singles.

The Hornets return to conference play next Tuesday, March 28 at Adrian.
