Henning leads the way at MIAA Championships

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team finished in seventh place overall at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Henning crossed the finish line in the highest place for the Hornets as he finished with a time of 25:56 and came in 12th overall.

Henning was placed on the MIAA Second Team for his efforts at the championship meet.

Paul Tshele was the second fastest runner for K at the championships finishing in 42nd place with a time of 27:39.

Alexander Townsend and Connor Vogt each finished in the top 50 as well coming in 42nd and 44th, respectively.

Andrew Feeley rounded out the top five for the Hornets placing 50th overall.

The Hornets will take a week off before they compete in the Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 14th. Race time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in Terre Haute, Ind.
