ALMA, Mich. – After a two week break from competition, the Kalamazoo College men's cross country team placed sixth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree hosted at the Pine River Country Club.
David Demarest paced the Hornets crossing the finish line first and placing 27th overall. He recorded a time of 26:59.9. Right behind Demarest was freshman Jackson Kelly who placed 29th with a time of 27:06.7.
Andrew Kaylor rounded out the top 30 with a time of 27:11.9, while Caleb Patton and Nick Angerman ended their days with top 50 finishes with times of 28:13.8 and 28:59.3, respectively.
Next up for the Hornets is a pre-nationals meet in Louisville, Ky on Saturday, Oct. 1.
