ALBION, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team placed seventh at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships Saturday after hosted by Albion College.
Leading the charge for the Hornets was reigning MIAA runner of the week, Jackson Kelly. Kelly placed 25th overall with a time of 27:21.3 in the eight-kilometer race.
Andrew Kaylor crossed the finish line second for K with a time of 27:44.2, good for 31st overall.
David Demarest rounded out the top three for Kalamazoo with a 28:27.5 pace. Finishing fourth and fifth for Kalamazoo were Nick Angerman and Caleb Patton. They recorded times of 28:49.1 and 29:21.8, respectively.
Next up for the team is a trip to the Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 12.
