POWELL, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team finished 30th at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional on Saturday.

Jackson Kelly finished 31st overall to lead the Hornets and earn All-Region honors with a time of 26:21.

Caleb Patton finished 151st at 28:23 while Austin Yunker came in 181st at 29:06.

Coach Koster's Meet Notes

Jackson Kelly was the highest Hornet finisher at Regionals since Will Dobbie took 28th and our own Professor Max Cherem was 39th way back in 2003, which means he is also our first runner to make the men's All-Region team in 14 years! Jackson's 31st-place finish yesterday was a full 60 spots higher than he finished at last year's Regional Meet. Of our other returners, senior captain Connor Vogt placed five spots higher than last year in his first race back from five weeks on the DL, and Austin Yunker nearly matched Jackson's improvement by finishing 50 places ahead of last year.
