Max Cherem

Max Cherem joined the staff as an assistant coach in 2011.
A three-year member of the Hornets' cross country team, Cherem graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2004 with a degree in philosophy. He was a co-captain during his senior year after spending his junior year studying abroad in Nepal.
Following graduation from Kalamazoo College, Cherem earned a Fulbright scholarship and spent another year in Nepal doing research. Cherem then spent a year teaching English in South Korea before enrolling at Northwestern University where he completed his Ph.D. in 2012.
Cherem resides in Kalamazoo and is also teaching in the philosophy department at Kalamazoo College.
