The 2017 Kalamazoo College softball team and six individuals earned academic honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association this month.

The Hornets were recognized as a 2016-17 Easton / NFCA Division III All-Academic Team with a cumulative GPA of 3.381.

Six individuals were recognized as NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2016-17 academic year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher: Kennedy Boulton, Erin DuRoss, Emma Eisenbeis, Alyssa Heitkamp, Briana Huisken and Nori Seita.
