Game One

Albion went up 7-0 with four runs in the first inning and three more in the second.

Kalamazoo's two runs came in the fourth and seventh innings. Nina Szalkiewicz hit an RBI double in the top of the fourth to score Lucy Hart after she landed on base from a fielding error. In the top of the seventh, Fiona Smigiel singled to center field, after which Nikki Gorder came up with a triple out to left center to score the runner.

Gorder and Szalkiewicz were credited with the two RBIs for the Hornets in the first game. Kalamazoo had six hits while Albion totaled eight.

Gorder led with two hits, while Hart, Lizzy Rottenberk, Szalkiewicz and Smigiel made up the other hits for Kalamazoo.
