Tara Buchanan

Tara Buchanan joined the Kalamazoo College softball coaching staff in 2014-15.
Originally from La Porte, Ind., Buchanan graduated from Western Michigan University in 2012 with a degree in recreation. During college, Buchanan played for the Broncos in 2010-2012 after transferring from Kankakee Community College. She also coached the fall season with the Broncos while finishing her degree. In 2014, she coached the Loy Norrix High School varsity softball team.
Buchanan is currently an employee at Stryker Instruments. She also continues to give hitting instruction to give girls the tools to get to the next level.
She is very excited and grateful to begin her collegiate coaching career at Kalamazoo College.
