Kate (Laverty) Issa joined the Kalamazoo College softball coaching staff prior to the 2018 season.

A native of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Kate was a pitcher/outfielder at Hope College from 2013-16. She posted 26 wins with 18 complete games on the mound while also recording five saves during her career.
