KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Kalamazoo College women's basketball junior guard Emily Lindsay has been selected to represent the United States in international competition this summer.
The Davison native will be traveling to Italy as a member of the AIST (American International Sport Teams) Women's Basketball team. The team is made up of an elite group of collegiate athletes from NCAA Division I, II, and III schools.
The team will compete in four games beginning May 24th and ending June 3rd. Lindsay will be documenting her trip via a blog that can be followed on the Kalamazoo College Women's Basketball Facebook page.
Lindsay averaged 10.8 points per game on a Kalamazoo team that finished 12-12 on the season and 8-8 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play, K's best finish in 10 years.
