ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 83-43 to Rochester College on Saturday. Kalamazoo trailed 50-23 at halftime.
Danielle Simon led the Hornets with 16 points and five rebounds.
Amanda Moss scored eight points while Sierra Fraser finished with seven.
Rochester shot 57.4 percent overall including 6-of-17 on 3-pointers. Kalamazoo was held to 24.6 percent and 1-of-13 from behind the arc.
Rochester outrebounded Kalamazoo 49-31, although the Hornets held a 13-7 edge in offensive rebounds.
Kalamazoo opens MIAA play at home against Adrian next Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
