Women's Basketball falls to Concordia

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team fell 63-39 on the road to Concordia on Sunday afternoon.

Concordia led from the outset, building a nine point lead by the half and then stretching their advantage during the second half. The Hornets struggled from the floor in the contest, shooting 21.3 percent from the floor and 19 percent from three point range in the contest compared to 42.1 percent overall for Concordia. 

Brianna Rowe led Concordia with a game-high 13 points.

Emily Kozal led Kalamazoo offensively with nine points. Danielle Simon had eight points and nine rebounds, while Sierra Fraser added seven points and five rebounds off of the bench.

Kalamazoo will kick off conference play against Trine on Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 6 p.m. as the first half of a doubleheader at the Anderson Athletic Center.
