Women's Basketball Falls to Manchester

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team dropped its game with Manchester on Saturday morning by a score of 62-48. 

The Spartans got the first basket of the game and never surrendered their lead. The Hornets cut the lead down to as little as nine points in the third quarter, but their comeback attempt fell short. 

Kalamazoo shot 25 percent on the day while Manchester ended at a 35 percent clip. 

Sierra Fraser led Kalamazoo with 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. 

Kaytlyn Tidey and Darby Scott added nine and eight points respectively. 

Kalamazoo returns to action Thursday, Nov. 29 when it hosts Anderson at 7:30 p.m.
