Women's Basketball Loses to Anderson

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated by Anderson University on Thursday night by a score of 66-48. 

The Hornets got out to a hot start in the first quarter and outscored the Ravens 21-19. Kalamazoo assisted on five of nine made field goals in the period. 

Anderson found its touch in the final three periods and outscored Kalamazoo 47-27. 

Kalamazoo finished the game shooting 36.7 percent from the field and 23.5 percent from beyond the arc. 

Freshman Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo offensively with 15 points. Amanda Moss was close behind with 11 of her own. 

Eliza McCall led the Hornets in both rebounds (six) and assists (four). 

The Hornets return to action on Saturday, Dec. 1 when they host Oberlin at 3 p.m.
