Women's Basketball Falls to Oberlin

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 71-26 to Oberlin College inside the Anderson Athletic Center on Saturday.

Kalamazoo's shooting was off and the Hornets fell behind early and never recovered. The visiting Yeowomen led 31-15 at halftime.

Oberlin shot 47.6 percent overall while limiting Kalamazoo to 14.9 percent. Oberlin elso held a 55-35 advantage in rebounds.

Kaytlyn Tidey led the Hornets with 10 points and six rebounds.

Amanda Moss and Darby Scott each scored five points. 

Georgie Andrews led Kalamazoo with seven rebounds and three steals while Sierra Fraser pulled down six rebounds.

Kalamazoo returns to action Wednesday, Dec. 5 with the Hornets' conference opener at Trine.
