Kaytlyn Tidey of the Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was honored Monday as the Kalamazoo College Athletic Leadership Council Women's Hornet of the Week.
A freshman from Lawrence, Mich. (Lawrence HS), Tidey scored a career-high 25 points against Adrian College last Monday. This came just one game after her previous career-high of 24 points.
In addition to scoring 25 points against Adrian, Tidey grabbed three rebounds, had three assists, and two steals.
For the season Tidey is averaging 15.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.7 assists per game.
Kalamazoo is back in action Friday, Dec. 28 against Heidelberg at the Wittenberg Tournament in Springfield, Ohio.
