KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team dropped its game with Olivet 50-44 on Saturday afternoon.
Olivet got out to a 24-15 lead after a defensive first half. The two teams combined to shoot 25.3 percent from the field.
The second half, however, was a back-and-forth half that featured multiple lead changes late into the game.
Kalamazoo outpaced its first half score in the third quarter alone and cut the Comet lead down to 38-34.
The Hornets were unable to complete the comeback as they were outscored 12-10 in the final quarter.
Amanda Moss and Kaytlyn Tidey led Kalamazoo in scoring with 14 points each.
Georgie Andrews collected a game high 11 rebounds.
Kalamazoo returns to play on Wednesday, Jan. 15 when it hosts Calvin at 7:30 p.m.
