Women's Basketball Falls at Alma

ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated 82-41 at Alma College on Saturday.

Kalamazoo fell behind early and was never able to get within striking distance. The host Scots shot 47.7 percent overall while limiting Kalamazoo to 23.3 percent. Alma outrebounded Kalamazoo 47-19. The Hornets were a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line.

Isabelle Clark led Kalamazoo with 13 points while sinking 6-of-6 free throws.

Jayla Gill added eight points. Christiana Hunt finished with seven points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Kalamazoo and Alma meet up again on Monday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in Kalamazoo.
