Perri (Weiderman) Nicholson joined the Kalamazoo College coaching staff in 2016.

Nicholson graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2015 with a degree in psychology with a neuroscience concentration.

A graduate of Three Rivers (Mich.) High School, Nicholson played for the Hornets for two seasons and averaged 8.6 points and 7.8 rebounds during her career. She was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2015 while leading the Hornets in rebounding (8.1 rpg), blocks (46) and shooting percentage (.461). She was second on the team in steals (57) and third in scoring (9.4 ppg). A two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, Nicholson also led the Hornets in rebounds, steals and shooting percentage her junior year. Nicholson posted two double-doubles during her career and recorded career-highs in points (20) at Olivet in 2014 and in rebounds (19) at Mt. St. Joseph in 2013.

Perri and her husband reside in Kalamazoo with their son.
