Women's Golf Breaks School Record at Saint Mary's

GRANGER, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's golf team took sixth place at the season's second MIAA Jamboree on Tuesday hosted by Saint Mary's. 

Kalamazoo shot 345 as a team, an improvement on its score of 365 at the first Jamboree. They finished four strokes behind fifth-place Adrian. 

Kalamazoo's 345 also broke the school record by 10 strokes. The previous best 355 came in 2008.

Darby Scott led the Hornets with an 81, tying for 13th overall. 

Sydney Pickell tied for 22nd overall and was second on the team with an 85. 

Ella Szczublewski carded an 88 and placed third on the team. Kate Stover and Erin Perkins rounded out the group with scores of 91 and 114, respectively. 

Kalamazoo returns to action on April 3 when it hosts the third MIAA Jamboree at Milham Park in Kalamazoo.
