The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team is partnering with Hope College for a HeadStrong Rivalry Series game to support blood cancer patients and research. When the two teams meet at Kalamazoo on April 19, both will wear special socks for the game. Admission will be five dollars.

"We are excited to participate in the HeadStrong Rivalry Series to support not only our lacrosse community, but also the fight against blood cancer," Kalamazoo Head Coach Emilia Ward. "The foundation has raised over five million dollars and provides housing for families seeking treatment in the Philadelphia area."

In its first year as a varsity program, Kalamazoo currently sits with a 4-6 record on the season and a 1-2 mark in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play.
