HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team fell to Hope College on the road Saturday afternoon in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play, 13-6.

After Hope began the game with four unanswered goals, K struck back with two of its own from Amanda Moss and Anna Dairaghi late in the first half. Hope tacked on another to lead 5-2 at the half.

Despite K scoring four goals throughout the second half, a hot stretch of three goals to begin the second half created a deficit too large for the Hornets to overcome.

Dairaghi led the charge on the attack for K scoring two goals. Four other Hornets contributed with goals throughout the game Saturday.

Katie Johnson made 11 saves on 24 shots in goal.

Kalamazoo will look to bounce back in MIAA play this Tuesday when it hosts Albion College at MacKenzie Field.
