Women's Lacrosse earns IWLCA academic honors

The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team and four seniors were recognized with academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday.

The 2017 Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team was recognized as an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad by posting a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the 2016-17 academic year. The team also recently received the MIAA Team GPA Award with a 3.30 or higher.

Four individuals were recognized as members of the IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll: Anna Dairaghi, Clare Jensen, Allia Howard and Nicole Prentice. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.

The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team tied for fourth in the MIAA with a 4-4 record this spring (4-10 overall).
