Women's Lacrosse Falls in Overtime at Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost 10-9 in overtime at Hanover College on Saturday. The host Panthers scored the game winner with 16 seconds left in overtime.

Kalamazoo led 3-1 after the first quarter and 6-5 at halftime. The Hornets held an 8-6 lead at the end of three before Hanover scored three of the last four goals to send it to overtime.

Kalamazoo held a 32-25 advantage in shots, including 21-5 on goal.

Hannah Heeren led the Hornets with five goals, eight ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Rose Bogard scored three goals with eight ground balls and six caused turnovers.

Mackenzie Maiorano added one goal with two assists and five ground balls.

The Hornets are scheduled to play next at Pfeiffer on Monday, March 21 at 6 p.m.
