Women's Lacrosse Falls to Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost its season finale 17-11 to Hope College on Saturday.

Kalamazoo trailed 16-6 before scoring five of the last six goals.

Hope outshot Kalamazoo 43-21, including 32-17 on goal.

Hannah Heeren led the Hornets with seven goals, four ground balls and three draw controls.

Mackenzie Mairoano broke the school record for assists in a season (21) with four today.

Rose Bogard had two goals and six draw controls. Natalie Maki had two assists.

Jordan Flink made 15 saves in goals.
