KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team was defeated 3-2 by Olivet Tuesday night at MacKenzie Field.

The Hornets opened the scoring just before halftime when Christina Dandar scored her first goal of the season from outside of the Olivet penalty area, placing her shot over the arms of the Olivet keeper. After a foul in the Olivet box in the 67th minute, Julie Zabik finished off the subsequent penalty kick to stretch the Kalamazoo lead to 2-0. Olivet, however, would come storming back to score three goals in the final 20 minutes of the game. Abby Radcliffe scored and assisted on a second goal and Isabelle Leon scored with just over a minute remaining, knocking a shot off the inside of the post and into the goal to win the game for the Comets.

Hannah Wolfe made four saves in goal for the Hornets in the loss.

Kalamazoo returns to MacKenzie Field on Thursday to take on nonconference opponent Thomas More at 5:30 p.m.
