GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team lost 2-0 at Calvin College Saturday evening.

The host Knights scored in the seventh minute and 29th minute while holding the Hornets scoreless.

Calvin limited Kalamazoo to just seven shots overall in the game, two of which were on goal.

"Calvin was a step ahead of us and we were forced to play catch up," said Kalamazoo Head Coach Bryan Goyings. "Hannah Wolfe did a tremendous job keeping the deficit at 2-0 several times in the second half."

"No game in the MIAA is easy and it was a tough lesson for our team to learn tonight."

Kalamazoo returns home to face Trine on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
