Women's Swimming - Day Two at Calvin Invitational

GRAND RAPIDS - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team competed on the second of the three day Calvin Invitational on Friday.

Colleen Orwin had two of the Kalamazoo's best swims on Friday. She finished second overall in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:07.94. Miranda Doepker finished 10th (2:12.95) while Haley Pritkin finished 12th (2:18.98). Orwin also finished fourth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:41.03 (4:40.08 prelims). Kathleen Cebelak finished 10th (4:49.80) while Sarah Sullivan finished 13th (5:20.14). 

Tristyn Edsall finished third overall in the 50 Freestyle with a time of :23.91. Hannah Olsen finished 15th (:25.52, :25.91 prelims). 

finished 14th in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.65 (1:00.11 prelims) whileChristina Park finished 15th at 1:00.65 (1:00.17 prelims). 

The women's 200 Free Relay team finished fourth with a time of 1:39.12 (Edsall, Olsen, Park, Orwin).

Alex Stephens finished 16th in the 200 Freestyle (2:02.39) after posting a time of 2:00.78 in prelims.

The Calvin Invitational concludes on Saturday.
