Orwin breaks school record on opening night of MIAA's

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team opened up the 2017 MIAA Championships with a third place finish in the 800 free relay on Wednesday. Kalamazoo finished in 7:51.97 in the only scored event on Wednesday.

Colleen Orwin broke her own school record in the 200 freestyle (1:53.20) while leading off the relay event. Following Orwin in the relay were Malak Ghazal, Monica Gorgas and Erin Radermacher.

The MIAA Championships continue through Saturday.
