Women's Swimming & Diving wins two events on Thursday

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team is in third place after the second day of the MIAA Championships. The Hornets have 221 points and are just 14 points out of second place.

Colleen Orwin won the 200 IM for the third consecutive year with an NCAA "B" time of 2:06.41.

The 400 Medley Relay team also took home a championship while setting a school record with a "B" time of 3:51.16 (Christina Park, Ellen Neveux, Colleen Orwin, Tristyn Edsall).

Madeline Woods finished second in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 423.15. Tristyn Edsall finished second in the 50 freestyle with a "B" time of :23.59.

The 200 Free Relay team of Christina Park, Ellen Neveux, Erin Radermacher and Tristyn Edsall finished second with a time of 1:36.29.

The championships run through Saturday.
