SHENANDOAH, Texas - Colleen Orwin finished eighth in the 400 IM at the NCAA III Swimming and Diving Championships with a time of 4:33.95 Thursday. Orwin's finish marks the fourth All-American honor in her career and the program's best finish in a swimming event since 2005.
Earlier in the day Orwin finished eighth in prelims with a time of 4:24.58.
The 400 medley relay team finished 19th in prelims with a time of 3:56.62 (Christina Park, Ellen Neveux, Colleen Orwin, Tristyn Edsall). The 200 free relay team was disqualified.
Colleen Orwin is scheduled to compete Friday in the 200 butterfly while Tristyn Edsall swims in the 100 breaststroke.
