Women's Swimming and Diving Defeated at Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was defeated 162-75 at Calvin University Friday evening.

Top finishes for the Hornets on Friday included second-place finishes by Camille Misra in the 50 Freestyle (:25.55) and 200 Butterfly (1:02.69), Eve Petrie in 3-meter diving (230.10), Mary Trimble in the 100 Freestyle (:55.71), Sam Vande Pol in 1-meter diving (236.70), and the 200 Medley Relay in 1:55.33 (Camille Misra, Emily Tenniswood, Farah Ghazal, Mary Trimble).

The Hornets also won two events late in the meet, Mary Trimble in the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.99) and the 200 Free Relay in 1:47.03 (Ava Williams, Mya Richter, Maggie Zorn, Farah Ghazal).

The Hornets are back home Saturday morning as they take on Albion College beginning at 11 a.m.
