ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team won its regular season finale 8-1 over Albion College on Saturday.
Kalamazoo improved to 14-6 overall and secured a second place finish in the MIAA with a 7-1 league record.
Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Sabrina Dass and Sarah Woods won 8-0 at one doubles while Carrie Foura and Cheryl Zhang won 8-0 at three doubles. Olivia Bouchard and Maria Franco won 8-2 at two doubles.
Carrie Foura and Siani Johnson won 6-0, 6-0 at five and six singles, respectively. Sabrina Dass 2on 6-2, 6-1 at two singles while Olivia Bouchard won by the same score at three singles.
Cheryl Zhang won 6-1, 6-0 at four singles.
Next up for Kalamazoo is the MIAA Tournament held April 30-May 1. Kalamazoo will host the No. 3 team at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.
