HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 7-2 at Hope on Friday. Both teams entered the match undefeated in conference play. The loss also ended Kalamazoo's four match winning streak.
Hope swept the doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead, including a 9-7 win at one doubles.
Hope proceeded win four of the six singles matches in straight sets to win the match.
Sarah Woods posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at one singles. Maria Franco won 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 at three.
Kalamazoo closes out the regular season against Albion at home on Sunday at 11 a.m.
