Women's Tennis Team, Individuals earn ITA academic honors

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team and five individuals earned academic honors through the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week.

The Hornets earned ITA All-Academic Team honors by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

Maria Franco, Alex Oswalt, Julia Bachmann, Julia Riddle and Lisa Johnston earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors by meeting the criteria of being a varsity letter winner, having a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and having been enrolled at their current institution for at least two semesters.

The Hornets finished the season 10-9 and tied for second place in the MIAA with a 6-2 league record.
